i do think their availability of tracks does encourage driving like this though well that and the fact they're mad and don't give a shit
japan has as many tracks as we have golf courses
some of our best tracks are in carparks lol, and mondello of course
and i can't see any grants or subsidies coming along any time soon to change that - even when small successful tracks are found and ran successfully they're shut down:huh:

Not all Japanese drifters are good an awful lot are just about average.
A lot o tracks are far away from people on Japan. Not everyone has a track at their door step.
They have the scene/infrastructure and knowledge to be really good...
Nakamura I'm sure has been driving for a long time skill and perfecting don't just happen over night. He haas balls,and recently I'd say he has enough help behind him to get better and better with less financial stress...
Like Ken block.. Many people could be as good as him if they had unlimited money to practice and spend on getting good.
A lot of potential talent just can't be extracted or allowed to blossom!
Saying all this Irish tracks and infrastructure.. Well we just have to make the most of it. . .
