    Nothing to do with tracks really. Nakamura honed his skills at meihan which is a go kart track. (aswell as the road).

    Basically I think we just need to get out there and push ourselves. If I am ever able to drive like Nakamura I will die a happy man!

    Im sure nakamura has mangled alot of cars to get to be that good

    mental driving - pure class

    i do think their availability of tracks does encourage driving like this though well that and the fact they're mad and don't give a shit
    japan has as many tracks as we have golf courses
    some of our best tracks are in carparks lol, and mondello of course
    and i can't see any grants or subsidies coming along any time soon to change that - even when small successful tracks are found and ran successfully they're shut down

    but back to main thread - yeah probably part machine/part human - like a conjoined twin with his drift car
