fc rx7 road/track spec

Well i picked up my new fc of kouki kid on here a few weeks ago,i was in the market for a new daily driver that could be used for drift days etc and i wasnt gone on the idea of getin a s-body so i decided i had to buy this,always been a big fan of fc,s and the sound :eek: :D

as it stood when i bought it,decided to give it a full respray i subaru java black as the paint work wasnt great,
i aslo put in a fixed bride zeta 2,takata harneses,hydro wand,blitz boost cage
i also had to sort the 4x4 spec stance so wound down the coilovers to the last,pretty happy with the car now but still more work to do ie, get some tyte wheels :p

Was ragin I missed out out on buying this loan came through same day it was sold savage fc.

thinkin of maybe a nice offset te37 or maybe dishu :D

nice looking car lad..a definate yes for the te37's would look epic,,possiably a change of spoiler too but thats only my personal opinion..best of look with it:cool:

i like the stance, maybe black centred professors on it, but i like it the way it is, spoiler finishes of the over all look, you couldnt go for the spolierless with that fc, i was meant to do a swap with my old s14a and that but i opt out, regret it now

im plannin on more camber and low for the ae86 thats it pull it out of the garage height lol

i wudn be gone on the rota,s i tink they do look well on it but there very common,the last set of rota,s i had keeped getin cracked etc so id say il be goin for a set of te37 would finish it of nice ;)

Lovely car lad, saw it in the flesh in Fermoy, well wear. I personally reckon the flat five spoke Work Equips or VS-KFs are the shiiiit on FCs :)

Recognise the name alright. Used to have a fiat ducato with south east motocross on it. Then got a merc 814 truck. Derek newsome is my name. Benny is my father hes the motocross convenor now.

x2. Was so close to trying to buy this back off you and do prodrift in it. One of my fav cars I've ever owned, and if I was in the situation I am in now I never would have sold it. Had barely enough money myself at the time to run it, let alone do the things I wanted to it, which really annoyed me...as it was a good bit off what I wanted it to look like. But I know it'll now turn out awesome which I'm seriously happy....... and jealous about. Good spec on it too, and one of if not the best sounding (and loudest) thing I've heard on the road imo. :D

im getin a set of standard rear lights for it becuase there is on crack on the left one the do look betr up close but i reckon standard lights would be a major improvement ;)

Always thought it looked savage when James had it.

Looks great in black but I really like the other colour too if it was all matched up. Fair play on getting it painted and few bits done so quick!

thanks man,i was flat out at it,if only i was the same with my ae86 :D

bit of an errrmm update on this......
took it for its first spin today....made it 100 yards up the road befo the engine shat itself :(
brought it straight into the garage and compression tested it 0 in chamber 2,possible a apex seal
very dissapointed realy the car was goin great i did a compression test when i got it home after buyin it and it was bang on,
so its now lookin like its goin to get a rebuild and a possible bridge port :p

Ah fuck, this thread was just giving me a bit of hope with rotary's, I've contemplated getting an fd so many times I just couldnt hand over money the engines make me shiver.
