hope it goes well, wouldnt mind upgrading my brakes one the days too
haha I know well this Farmers Tan is looking a Tad redonk,
Ill let ya know how it goes TBH ATM i could be persuaded to Run a Full evo Break setup insted of this, apparently its a easy swap, im just afraid with the size of the calipers ill need spacers up front and i dont want to push out the wheels anymore
what mirrors are they gandor is it ?
Surprised you werent happy with the brakes, i find mine excellent. Running endless pads though.
ya dude the Genuine Ganador mirrors, where hard got, there are Replica sets on e-bay for sale but iv seen them fitted before they kind of swoop up as they come out and look absoultly muck in comparison!! you couls easily get them off yahooauctions in japan.
i Havent fitted the GtsT's yet, my stock breaks are beyond terrible so i thought for the money these are a nice little upgrade :) would love larger disks up front tho :afro:
this will hopefully be her last weekend like this :D

spent 3 hours today wiring down underneath with a Wirebrush attachment on a Grinder, and gave it a light coat of Etch Primer, gonna give it another coat and while its drying change the Breaks and then a coat or two of Waxoil seal :D might fix up the Ridge front bumper too while im at it i fell like working tomorrow :D
youll need differant brake pipes as the skyline rear callipers has a male fitting on the brake pipe where as the silvia one has a banjo bolt going through it..
i got mine off db-power there hel braided lines done the job nicely..
http://www.db-power.co.uk/product_in...roducts_id=548
cheers man i was actually considering getting Braided lines alright, i noticed that he is £30 for fronts and £30 Rears.
where Driftworks are £50 for a set of front and rears
would these be the Right ones the lines are designed for Gtst Breaks?
http://www.driftworks.com/driftworks...line-type.html
Lovely car mate. Where did you get your mirrors? Sorry just saw your reply above about yahoo auctions I must have a look on it for them. Have you dealt with them much I dono why I'm nervous enough getting stuff off it.
i got mine secondhand from a guy in England, Iv bought a Few bits off yahoo auctions through Jesse Streeter, i was ordering my flywheel through him also but he is apparently up the wall with orders and he reckons he will have to cut back orders as he has no place to store the stuff, contact juice on here he is in Japan ATM and im sure he would be more than happy to get you stuff and send it onto you ;)
Cheers ya I will get on to him and see what he can do.
Lovely car, Not many 15s iv actually liked in this country, keep it up! Veilside sticker hurts my eyes but other than that, Its perfect
Cheers Lads.
what started out as a change the Front breaks to the Skyline ones got a bit carried away today
https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...81124599_n.jpg
Decided to Pull off everything and properly under seal inside the Arches, then decided to Strip the coilovers and Check everything and give them a good copper Grease again
https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.n...34467737_n.jpg
cannot recomend this stuff enough, i copper Greased these 2 years ago and they came apart easy as today
https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...39594013_n.jpg
Back to the Breaks... im Ordering Braided Lines off Driftworks... now i was told ill need GTST lines.. but the lines that came with my calipers are really Short
https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...29127601_n.jpg
Compare to the S15 ones that are on the Inside of this Photo.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...44731271_n.jpg
If im getting the lines should i be looking for s15 Front ones and R33 gtst Rear ones?
Dont get the drift works ones, they wont work for ya.
I got the hel ones as above, std s15 front and z32 rears. Worked a1.
got em through apex perf in the uk.
The do all the different combo of brake lines too front and rear.
Just stick with what subzero said its only 10 sterling..if you buy the Driftworks ones there going to be a full set for a skyline which I don't know if the front ones will work I doubt they will..
Your some man for hardship for a guy that ain't a mechanic to do all this himself to a car well done man..wish I wasn't a mechanic then maybe I might not be as lazy with my own car
Quick Question are you still using the Standerd s15 Break master cylinder? or did you upgrade?
Ya id say ye are right lads, its just im ordering the Flywheel through WKD from Driftworks and i figured i would get the Lines and a coilover Adjuster Knob all in the one package and Save postage on them. I still cannot understand how that R33 Front break line is so short tho :O. I checked the rears Earlier on what you said man iid be well stuck if i didnt have the Lines from the Rear calipers LOL
Haha ya im lazy as hell Normally, i just love tinkering with this haha. i would have had the clutch smashed out in a few days only foe i knew something was up when the clutch went after such a short while and its never really abused, good thing i spent all the time i did at it, i don't want to see this Exedy clutch out again for at least a few years LOL
Im sure it is... but ill double check for ya tomorrow.
Your master cylinder could be the culprit for your bad brakes. The hel braided lines are tasty out with all the clips for the test etc. There just boring black and not cool dw orange :)
col man cheers, im thinking i should upgrade it while im at it but fuck i may just wait and see how it takes to the new breaks first :D
ya the handbreak was hopeless on mine would bearly hold the car on the hill let alone pull a skid  single pot sliding calipers are rubbish anyway, hopefuly the drums are a big improvment :D
Anyway been a busy few days i finally pulled the fingure out this week and hope to have it through the Test next week sell the golf and get back in this :D
i pulled out the rear coilovers and split, tested, cleaned, copper-greased, and Rebuilt them.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...83601857_n.jpg
so they are all 100% and im thinking of selling them up and getting something else need them to pass the NCT first tho
https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...03805339_n.jpg
started on the Breaks fronts where a peice of piss, straigtht swap using the old breaklines
https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...71151910_n.jpg
then onto the rears
before:
https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...97069977_n.jpg

https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...40821381_n.jpg
Then decide to give the headlighs a quick spruce up, this was after a was all dull looking
https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...72423012_n.jpg
sanded them down with 1000, 1500 and then 2000 and 2500 grit paper, and buffed them up with some polish i found lying around and buffed them up, pictures dont show how much better they look but its a big diffrence!!
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...43202974_n.jpg
Then finally my Driftworks super fly Flywheel came at long last :) not bad ordered it Friday through Wesley keating, he saved me E60 on the price of it and it landed this morning, ya cant ask for better service than that!!

As it started note where the Bonnet release cable is, it was getting eaten by the tyre too
https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...30931002_n.jpg

https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...95492266_n.jpg
this top connector take the connector at the back of it,
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...98456508_n.jpg
these two connectors on the Fuse board
https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...53021165_n.jpg

well spent all today fixing up all the random fiberglass bumpers i have lying around. really makes me hope that the standerd bumpers suit this and im well over this fiberglass craic for a while.
painted up the new skyline breaks and polished the lettering thanks to d-turbo-lawwwwwdddddd for the paint i seen his and really wanted that shade of red ;)
https://fbcdn-photos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...46195408_n.jpg
https://fbcdn-photos-g-a.akamaihd.ne...54200258_n.jpg
met kruizer during the week and he suggeated that i fiberglass up the hole for the old looms seems alot easier than plating it or fitting and sealing grommets so 2 layres of fiberglass in and outside. paint then waxoil and its water tight ;)
before
https://fbcdn-photos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...38477211_n.jpg

them polished the lips on the wheels wound down the coilovers as low as possible for the craic and took her out. im going to have to remove locking collers up front to get the height i want but the back is perfect right now :)

https://fbcdn-photos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...73793027_n.jpg
nice handy guide on the re wiring !!
loved this all kitted, be interesting to see how it comes out . you keeping the wings ? surely after the pain it was to get them.
what exhaust have you. thats what i find the biggest prob going low not really the bumpers. although the front is a bit of a pain .
defanatly keeping the wings i trimmed the lip off them and put a extra layre of fibreglass behind it hoping that if it makes contact with the wheel they wont shatter lol i still have the steel wings there if needs be :)
i was told its a mongoose exhaust but there are no badges on it, it sits really high tbh it used to catch at the subframe and it wore through but iv a 3mm plate welded on it now so when it catches tbe road it wont damage the exhaust. want to get a twin pipe attachment for it now dont like the big round exit on it now :)
thats so badass....
I really didnt want one... but you cant pass them up can you :O
aero front bumper ...
https://fbcdn-photos-e-a.akamaihd.ne...22286224_n.jpg
Very nice! Where did you come across an aero bumper might I ask?
this is gonna be epic!!!!
