I was there when Wayne brought the car back, he took it straight of the trailor, into the shed and took the rocker cover off and pic 1 is the way it was. So unless Wayne pulled over at the side of the road on the way home to set the timing, that is the way it left TDP. He was so surprised at the timing that he rang a few people who would know these engines and they all said 10 links.
I know it's professional to never make mistakes but it is even more professional to admit to them when they do happen
I'm not a mechanic or an engine builder but I was there and saw Wayne taking the first picture and I was also there when Wayne got all his valves checked and was told they were perfect.
The only reason I replied to this is that Stonie said he didn't time it the way it is in the first Pic and I saw it when it came off the trailor from you that day.
can i ask a question ? do tdp ever make mistakes like?
If there was any doubt in my mind Wayne that I timed your engine wrong I would hold my hands up no prob and say "ok maybe it was a tooth out fuck it jaze I'm sorry il sort it" but I know I didn't so that's the end of it really!! I am not admitting to something I did not do simple as that!! You say I was wrong, I know I wasn't end of story!! Make your argument in person not on a forum with bad pictures that actually tell nothing without seeing the bottom crank pulley,,, I'm leaving at that..
