Yeah was up there today. My wipers weren't working and then I blew the gearbox @ 11.30. Typical, was just starting to get the entry and line working right for me and then.....pop!
Ah yea was wondering alright why I didnt see you out later in the day.. Pity you missed it when the track dried up it was some balls trying to get around there in the wet!
A good driver can get around in any conditions.....
The wet was ok. Only problem was when the track was dry, on the exit of the long corner after the hole in the hedge, at the point where you transition, there was a river of water running across the track.
When your going flat out in the dry it will send you straight in to the tyre bale
Yea that river causght me a few times and sent me for them well placed tyre bales:mad: Luckly I managed to drive through the grass for all my fuckups:cool:

I think we should try organise a day! I emailed them asking when the next practice day was but no reply maybe if a few of us contact them they might set up a day ;)

mondello is always quiet for drift days during the summer coz of all the other events they have on. they normally put on a drift day when they have a free day with nothing else on. it was the same last yearQuote:

Its because they put the tyre bales on the track!!!!!!! and wet the corners!!! There is plenty of other practise days providing better conditions for drifting at more than reasonable prices so why would people go there anymore?! Its their own fault as drifters have been going on about this since they started doing it but they haven't listened or taken anything on board or even tried to come to a compromise.
No joke, the last day I clipped the bumper and thought to myself that I couldn't have been running that wide so I drove around the track slowly on the next lap for a look at the tyre bales and the one I clipped was not only on the rumble strips but a foot over it on the tarmac?! Your wheels should be able to run on the rumble strips!
I could be wrong now but this is my view anyway!!!!
