yes very true and i can only imagine how hard it could have been to see him he was carrying huge speed i think its just one of those things we all take these risks everytime we take the cars out its a shame it happened to such an expensive car but honestly i think this could have happened to any two drivers

terrible shame to see this happen but highlight the need for different groups i think like beginner,novice,pro etc

And to be fair Chris's car is on a serious diet so Im sure alot of strenght is gone out of the front too!

hold on here a wee minute boi! dont ye go gettin cocky about it, you were in the wrong,! i didnt ask you for a penny, i let it slide, i could have been a cunt about this and i wasnt i walked away angry and dissapointed and not with sore hands just remember that, what are you at anyway driving the car till the tyre blows out?? surely you would have had the cop on that you were a danger to anyone following, you would have heard your tire flapping, and instead of stopping you drove on like a dickhead and " lost control" you say, but you really had just got the car back straightend and decided to take a sharp exit off the track where you are not supposed to exit anyway!! :confused: so yes you were in the wrong, as i know myself and had been told by many people afterwards including the safety lads on track, yes i was full of the pipe and i was all morning down that straight, i was in the middle of drifting past you and i was fully in control, you made a mistake ok, im not sayin u did it on purpose, im simplying sayin pay more attention on track because you dont want the same thing to happen again only next time you may run into someone who hasn't the same attitude as me.. yes, but when he was slowed on the left what are you to do?? i cant go on the grass.. and what was with exiting the track instead of driving around, he completely crossed the track without considering anyone behind, a mistake thats all im sayin

i agree with joey, this could have happened to anyone. ive been in motorsport a long time and have raced a variety of disciplines, im no (Pro) but im definitely not a novice, i dont see how group's would change this.

in respect to car's, my yolk didnt exactly get off lightly as im looking for a new shell now. dont get me wrong i feel bad for chris, i of all people know the work that goes into these cars, its unfortunate to have crashed so soon after building it and before the first round too. i hope it comes together for him, and look forward to seeing him hopefully at the first round.

chris, i dont see any cause for abuse here. i was not in the wrong in any given way, i have been racing long enough to know the rules of the track, you passed a lame car, on the right at full tilt, and hit me frrm the back,. you could have braked and avoided the whole thing, you decided to accelerate and try push through. i was pulling over to the right, which i was completely in the right to do. you hit me on the wrong side, and from the back, you cant justify that in any way.

why would i accelerate on? and risk hurting a passanger, myself, yourself and your passanger? now your just turning this all around... you turned at the last min.. no car could stop with no notice..simple.. its not abuse lmao! as i said get over it, i never even mentioned your name on here so you should have kept quiet and just let me update my project thread... enough s**te talk just let it be!

it is abuse, as you called me a dickhead, and blamed me. i came on here, as everyone know's it was me you, hit, and i wanted to make it clear it wasnt my fault. in no way would i benifit from totaling my car and yours. you have admitted to seeing me all over the track, and you could have braked like anybody else would have,. i stand by my first post, i did everything i was supposed to do, you passed on the right and hit a slower car at speed from the rear. theres a massive sign on pit wall saying no overtaking on the right. now im done with this childishness, i hope you get your car sorted, and back up 100%. and best of luck in PD.
