Update- main and big end bearings ready to rock ,pistons a one off 0.5 mm oversized and none in stock any where in the solar system :D so had to get them made specially just for me cause im great :D went for Forged J.E. Pistons in the end ........ so just waiting on pistons to be made then the whole lot are coming toghether then we can get cracking .......well i mean paul can :D ! .........oh and engine bay got a degreasing and removal of some crap just to tidy things up ..............just a waiting game now :)

Its cool reading through your thread as my car is in with paul at the moment but is a week or two behind yours.

The West Covina guys are real helpful, you must be the guy who lives in a house without a number.
I was on the phone to them the day after you ordering an oil pump, the guys thought it was crazy selling two R32 pumps in two days to two Irish lads.

no new pistons for new, not this time around anyway.
Just a full rebuild and freshen up, all the gaskets, shells, bearings, oil pump etc

Can't wait to get it back :D

UPDATE -

Finally pistons arrived at rb motorsport today after what seemed like an eternity to be made ,they should be here early next week then up to paul along with the bearings

also bought these today from a guy called shane from drive n style nice bloke on the phone must say !

-Steel steering bush to replace rubber one ! thanks to D.I for that i seen the post on here by sRAY !

-Rear toe rods

Well the parts have finally arrived to meove on this build.

All the parts, New custom made CP pistons, rings, main and big end bearings,

These pistons have been custom made as a one off for this build, They look too nice to hide inside an engine.:D

They are .5mm oversized at 78.5mm and have extra oil channels to aid cooling.
