im doin that conversion at the moe mate, not hard really, my only prob is wiring as the s14 loom doesnt connect to the interior loom etc, im missin a few bits for the conversion too!! 1k is very expensive imo for labour an 1k for all the bits is good deal.

main reason im considering the conversion is because im most likely going to be turning my s13 into a full on track drift car. my engine at the moment is at full stage 3 build and some steel internals but im not sure as to whether i should just have my CA rebuilt to my own fully forged spec and make use of what i have or if id be better to swap the engine for an sr20.
but then, that way il have to incur the cost of modding the sr to around the same spec that my CA already is.
    any opinions?????

what boost pressure would a forged CA be able to handle and roughly what sort of horespower can i expect?

If you have a fully built forged CA then there is no real reason to swop to the SR.
Depending on the spec of your CA the block could take anything up to and above 2 bar so unless you are aiming for the stars with HP figures then you've likley got everything you need.

If you do still want the conversion done....it wouldn't cost you near 1k stg

suppose you're right. i just like the sound of sr20 as opposed to ca18. but if you say its the wrong decision.....il take your word for it.

    thanks
