I'd walk away from that one, and go find yourself another. They seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper these days, just like everything else.
In regards to support for them, you can get parts from Toyota, no bother. Any part I needed I got within two days of ordering. :)
Yeah I followed your advice guys and thanks for all that.
This money can buy a very good car. I know the guy put loads into it but let's face it - it's a 15yo 4 door which has same status in japan as any 15yo 5 series bmw here. And it's not driveable.
There's more cars around and in 6k+ region cash sale money talks big time.
It's also down to the country we're living in. Where I come from I'd just buy an M5 or 4.4v8 5-series or 850i (3k region) for much less than that and happy days then.
