Mines ecu's etc are set up to run 100 octane, and we have 95, on top of that a base map will only be so good as not every engine reacts to mods in the same way.
Why not try for an emanage or something if you don't want to go standalone?? Costs would be fairly similar though to a second hand unit,
Dont do it half arsed and then need to be replacing an engine.. Then there won't be much seat time without that...
