Ermm ya used a wire brush:o iv new ones on the way though

getting loan of a timing light there later too, so should hopefully have timing set right this evening

sorted the timing today, didnt make a whole pile of difference

I got a spare engine with the car and a load of other bits just have to pick it all up yet,
hopefully there is a dizzy on the other engine to try:D

sounds like something electrial breaking down under load... Coil, plug leads, new plugs, connections on tb sensors, broken or damages wires making bad connection
