Just came across these when begining to assemble a customers car!
The coating is gone off the end of the shell and the whole shell was delaminating!!
I have never come accross this before so if anyone is buing/fitting a set make sure you check them all fully.
There was no damage to the box or the plastic wrap on these either.:eek:

What have ACL said about it??
Nothing yet, Only discovered it yesterday evening.
The customer supplied the parts so he is getting onto the crowd he got them off and acl themselves..
No quality control?
ACL are going bust so that probably why.

We are testing another brand of bearings at the moment. It's a pity as the ACL are good bearings. Unfortunatuly the cosworth ones have the wrong oil clearance. I do have a good supply of acl for engines we are building for our customers.Quote:
