ACL Race manufacturer defect!

Just came across these when begining to assemble a customers car!

The coating is gone off the end of the shell and the whole shell was delaminating!!

I have never come accross this before so if anyone is buing/fitting a set make sure you check them all fully.
There was no damage to the box or the plastic wrap on these either.

Nothing yet, Only discovered it yesterday evening.

The customer supplied the parts so he is getting onto the crowd he got them off and acl themselves..

ACL are going bust so that probably why.

I dont know why, but that made me giggle. They must not be arsed putting in the effort for there final stint! Or else this is the reason they are going bust...but never heard of problems like this?

I heard that alright, I believe some one in the US wants to buy the engine bearing part of the business though.

Who else would you use?
