*Help needed*

So I got the rx7 back together and running tonight so heres what it got and here's the problems;

New front mount, alloy rad, changed spark plugs, oil, filter, new coolant, new power steering fluid, relocation of battery to boot, new piping and few other bits.

When I turn on the lights the engine revs up by about 600 - 800 rpm, opposite to the usual, quite strange

the plug on the ecu for the commander is a bit loose and the wire from the commander going into it doesnt read unless you push it to one side, can this be fixed?

It is now hunting again from 1000 - 1500, been over the car with a toothpick. Thought it was the co2 screw on the throttle body but this doesnt help the problem either (2-3am nearly every night the last week double checking everything and replacing anything that needs it, defo no split pipes or boost leaks)

Need a bit of help here on sorting this out, head is melted :mad::mad::(

check what voltage the ECU is getting, if its not gettin a full constant 12volts minimum then that would the the problem to sort first...

Checked voltage, not a problem there!........

it would be no harm to make sure that the earth wire in the boot is getting a very good contact to the body, and run another earth from the body to the engine near the altinator

I used a 40mm lead for the battery and cleaned off the paint on the body for the earth in the boot with the angle grinder, so its def good...

I posted a thread and asked numerous people should I do this coz I was unsure if i should or not and they said to just run the wire to the boot and earth it and that would be all I need

The lights making the engine rev up could be down to bad earth then???

What woukld you reckon about the hunting Gem????

Ecu and lights sorted, Good aul Eddie Doyle! I'd be lost without him.
Still hunting though, no boost leaks, I have been playing around and adjusting the co2 screw on the throttle body and this is clearly not the problem either.
Anybody any suggestions on what it could be?

Now there's a thought, could be......just doing bit of research, could be aac valve either but as I was talking to ya before I think it could be the power fc itself and not mechanical...........so this says anyway......
