If your looking to get a 3-8 or 320 a 4.44 diff would be prefect for drifting but be quite heavy on petrol as top speed will be 105mph but if your going to get a 323 325 or 328 a 3.34 would be good
I've a 3.65 LSD in my IS..only for wet nights, just not enough power, 323 min for dry messing and you'll still need m50 swap at that..there a few 320's on dd at the min which should do for a drop a messing..4.1/4 would be mad for a daily
318 would be way under powered so?also whats difference between 318i and 318is?
318is is a dohc. I had a 328 and it was shit unless you went seriously fast as the diff ratio has aids.
