audi a4 antenna?

wel lads just got a a4 and the radio is not working but the cd player is so i think the antenna is loose or cracked but cant find it does any1 no where is the antenna is in the car its 03

Built into the rear glass if I remember right!

Theres a tube of gunk made by Granville to fix it,Its about 30quid retail!

Pull out the radio and make sure its plugged into the back :p

im not 100% sure but,

doesnt the unit get its earth from the antenna?

so it would need the antenna connected for the cd player to work,
and if it was even a poor connection it would still have a signal for the radio,even if it was a shite signal?

i know that from some older ones ive had,but not sure on audi radios

Mick is right it is in the rear windscreen, i got a small unit that you stick inside behind your rear view mirror and run the wires down trough the A-pillar, alot better reception then original antenna, alternatively if you have windscreen cover pop the window and claim :)
