    Default Daily MX-5

    Hello all
Before i show you the progress on my first project car i will give you a quick intro.
Have been completely in love with Drifting since i was about 12 years old. My brother got me interested when we used to head down to Rosegreen to the old D1IRL days! (Have some photos will share them)
Since then have rarely missed any Irish events and have more or less seen how the whole Irish drift scene has evolved since.

My mothers Altezza, Brothers 180 and ps13

Shane Healy/Miguels s15 just before Hankook Livery

Martins Jzx81, Levin and Mr2 turbo.

    Anyway, back to my car.
For the last year i have been driving this Vento.

Through on a set of BBS reps and JOMS, it has done 30000 miles in the last 12 months, but i never really liked it and am in need of Something RWD.
I wanted a ps13 or a zenki 14 but my 2 hour Commute to work and back everyday, and the not so good money i am on just doesnt make it feasible.

So i went and bought this Miata. 1.6 112000 KMS and feels nice and solid.
I will be able to skid this daily and some fun, drive it over to tullow and drive it back.
Was rough when i bought it, rag top was ripped in bits but it didnt bother me as i wanted a hard top and wanted to spray it anyway.

After a day or two i got a hard top, (Happened to be silver!)

Fitted the BBS reps one eve to get an idea of wheel sizes

Got a 1.8 Diff and Shafts, Welded the diff.

Got a garage Vary Front Lip, Feed side steps, Boot and roof spoiler

While doing these little bits i was waiting for other bits to arrive.
    Got these, SSR Professor SP1 15x8 -2 15x8.5+4

    Got this Bride Zeta2

Fitted a dildo and a nardi

That is more or less the progress so far.

I am currently waiting on Tyres to arrive, The BC coilovers i ordered from Jay and the rail for the Seat.
    Any feedback welcome
I hope to have the car sitting and running how i want it by the end of next week and then get it off for its posh paint at the end of the month.
    I will keep you updated.
    Any feedback welcome
    Thanks
    John
