    Default Mx5 turbo for sale

Bought this of Haydn on here!

Spent a good bit of time and money getting it running right and fixing problems like oil line, gaskets, rewelding manifold, new turbo nuts and bolts,Reseting sideband sensor, new actuator pipe etc

When I got the car the roof was in bits ripped badly where it met the body, the rear window was cable tied in, and had rips at nearly every joint. It was also a cheap replacement roof. I replaced it with a genuine mohair mk2 mx5 roof with glass rear window. This roof had one clean rip in the top which was sewn and patched and does not leak nor is noticeable at all. I wouldn’t even call this a bad point but it’s worth mentioning

Paint was gick when I got it, three stage polish and wax and it cleaned up well. Unfortunatley I forgot to wax it before the FreshFix feature

Recently featured on Fresh fix and in its previous incarnation as Brian Egans drift car was Speedhunters featured.

    NCT until Mid April 2013
    Tax until end of 01/13
Car is clear of any previous accident damage and has absolutely no rust!

The car is of a very high spec as seen below. Car has great road presence.

Car is actually very good on petrol due to being mapped well and I’ve gotten 26/27 mpg around the town with some heavy footing.

I’ve had the car just over 2 months and it’s become apparent the mx5 is just not a viable daily for me. I’m also in my final year of college and this type of car really takes up a lot of time both physically and mentally that I can’t afford to waste.

Car is currently road legal but is still fully competitive for drifting if fitted with seats and a cage. Would do as is for track days!

    Car doesn't come with Nardi!

    Interior

    Red leather seats and dash
    Red carpets
Pilot ball gearknob and matching handbrake lever
    Hydraulic handbrake
Defi Rev gauge (not hooked up)
    Inlet manifold vacumn gauge
    Oil pressure gauge
GReddy boost gauge ( not hooked up)

    Exterior

15x8 et 0 on front and 15x 8 et -12 Bassett racing wheels on the rear
    Bolt on arch’s all round
Inner arches modified to eliminate rub at full lock
    Rocket bunny type rear spoiler
Garage very Front lip( in a few pieces but plastic not fibreglass)
Blacked out front indicators ( still work)
Number plate relocated to side to improve air flow to intercooler
Mk2 soft top, hood was in bits when I got it so replaced it with a mk2 mohair hood, one small rip which has been repaired and doesn’t leak. Mk2 hood was certainly not cheap!

    Suspension and breaks

Level7 tune, custom extra lock hubs, a serious improvement over standard hubs which have little or no lock. Cars turning circle is TINY.
Tein Damping adjustable and height adjustable coilovers all round, in good condition
Mx5 mk2.5 brakes front and rear, much bigger and better than standard 1.6 brakes
EBC red stuff pads on the front
EBC yellow stuff pads on rear

    Running gear

Standard gearbox in very good condition
    Short shifter in gear box
Excedy stage 2 clutch, very strong
    Shimmed rear diff, very tight

    Engine

1.6 engine rebuilt roughly 20k miles ago
Custom turbo manifold with new gasket
    Custom turbo elbow
    Custom downpipe
    Custom Decat
Custom Cat back exhaust with shotgun exit
    T25 turbo in good condition
    Custom hard pipes for intercooler
    TRUST Intercooler
Oil cooler and oil cooler relocation kit all with braided lines
Power steering cooler with braided lines
Majority of lines in engine bay replaced with braided lines
    Uprated coilpack leads
    Rx7 550cc injectors
Innovate MT-LX wideband sensor and gauge
    Megasquirt ecu
    Battery relocated to boot
    Alliminium Cooling panel

The paint work was an absolute sham when I got it, it has since been buffed and waxed and came up significantly although still has some small lacquer peel around the aerial and drivers door handle. The passenger door is rippled, but a replacement can be got for roughly 50 euro I just don’t have the spare money at the moment.

    Price

I’m in absolutely no rush to sell, and am not short of cash. I do love this car and won’t let it go for less than what its worth. Price wise I’m looking in the region of 3,300 euro but am Open to close offers!

Im open to part exchanged, anything considered
