There is a lot of dick swinging going on in this thread lol. Who cares what who has done what. You be nice to me I'll be nice to you. As for posting build threads etc on here. From what I can remember wasn't there some di rape squad that if one of those guys didn't like your car the whole squad would jump on the band wagon talking shite. I personally would love to put a build thread up for my new car but to many haters on here taking shit. Keyboard warriors etc. As people constantly point out if you don't want people talking shit about your car don't post it and that's why I don't bother anymore. I will always come back for the how to threads and for sale threads of course. As for the guys putting up there build threads I hope they continue to do so.

I think dave gives the scene a bad name too.. I'm sick of seeing his friendly smiley head at every drift event. I'm sick of the way everyone seems to know and like the prick... The way he always offers to help me out with my car makes him look like a pure scumbag and he doesn't even care. The worst part is, because of people him you meet more pricks like him...
grange is actually a dick swinger... But don't believe everything you read in the papers...
Cocks fannys tit heads dave daly is the biggest that hachi is a bollix larz ur full of shite grange is a homo stevo i hate that guy. This get stuff off chest thread is sweet

To be honest Diarmuid, I'd argue that it's YOUR exact attitude (displayed) that's one of the main contributors to what some people see as holding back the sport.
You've been hanging around in the long grass a long time and feel that entitles you to push people around as if you have some sort of status or claim to a forum you don't contribute to. D.Daly's being a dope, but this whole forum should be about a little fun here and there. You're being aggressive and dismissive of him here. People who hang back usually are afraid to express what they want to express in public because they're afraid of being disagreed with or criticised. The type of people who go to drift events as spectators, and then complain about the good drivers always winning, the judges' bias and refuse to clap and make people feel awkward when they do clap. The type of 'super fans' who make people think twice about embracing the potential atmosphere of the drift scene. I'm not saying that you are one of those people, you're just exhibiting the characteristics of one.
You're referring to the glory days as if it's something that will never again be seen. There's still plenty of drifting to be done without having to compete in IDC or N1. Granted, Tynagh and WGH drying up a bit doesn't help my argument, but there's an opening for someone surely? Or is there?
If you ran practice sessions in WGH before why don't you do it now? I'm not saying you should, but why did you stop? I would think there's a lot more red tape involved these days. Having been involved in Driftfest, Superdrift and JustJap, I know that there's more to doing a practice day than calling them up and showing up with a bunch of buddies. Unless we were doing something seriously wrong. In the case of DF that may have been true
Anyways, i don't want to harp on about it. You might have been in a shitty mood when you wrote that. I think it's great that you started this thread, i honestly do. I don't understand how you feel that the likes of nikki hayes and justjap and superdrift and all the other "so called drift clubs or events if you want to call them that" are "Splitting up and not doing a good job promoting the sport". I know superdrift and driftfest had their differences. a lot of people knows that at this stage. But who else, and why is that a bad thing for the average punter with a rusty s-body or a 323 looking to do a practice day?
All I'm saying is that if it was that easy to make a few quid doing practice days, everyone would be doing it. Mondello is easier, granted, but it's not that simple anymore for other tracks. There are more drift cars in the country than ever before and people are importing road cars again. That can only be a good thing, that people have a few quid to spare again.
