rb vs sr gear knob??????

anyone know if the gear stick on an rb box has the same thread for the gear knob as the sr box. since i put in the rb box i cant seem to get my gear knob on it.......

LOL i could see this coming. was biting my lip when pressing post. after trying to word it as carefully as possible. its not the first box that wouldn't except me knob.............

Iv never had a problem putting my knob into different boxes.....

they have different threads... i have hks gearknob on mine got it from sumo power and they said the s15 and r34 threads than other versions hope it helps

what sumo power told me was that the threads on r32/33 s13/14 are diffferent than threads on r34 and s15's

this thing came off an s13 sr box and I'm trying to put it onto an r33 gtst box so should that fit? the stick has been modified (swan necked) to bring it back to where the sr stick sits, but not sure if its still the r33 threads on it or something completely different. so I'm trying to find out if i was the standard shifter threads.

s13 gearknob wont fit a r33 gearbox..you will need a skyline one...s15 6 speed may fit as a s13 knob wont fit a s15 speed shifter
