t1-r's are great tyre all round...have seen noting but good reports on the new
ones..and nigel said there great for drifting so id say grap a pair i never liked r888 in the wet

id agree with ya the t1r is a great all rounder,the r888 is a class dry weather track tyre,never got use them in wet though,and i belive the r1r is unreal also

thinkin of goin wit t1rs cos iv used them few times before an found them very good but wana get opinion on proxes 4 cos can get them bit cheaper.

never rated the t1r...... the new R1r is awesome!! same compound as the R888 but with a better thread for the wet..... plus the thread style looks sick!!!

also the proxes 4 IS NOT the R1r!! the r1r is a bit more expensive but worth it definatly!! think i paid 350 quid for a pair of 225/45/17 off camskill!!

If you wana use 888's for dry and WET i would use a tyre cutters to put in extra groves in the tyre,done this before found it good.
