    Default arch cutting for overfenders, need help on what to do

    have this up on DW too, but the more help the better! pics are really wanted

    i really need like a step by step guide, or just some info on what to do! if anyone could help me or just point me in the right direction to a thread that explains it that would be great! thanks

    its easy nick...cut slits up your steel fenders bout 2-3inches dependin on how much clearance ya want do them down as far as that groove in the panel thats bout half inch thick ya no the one runs the whole length the car...then jus pull the flaps of steel your slits make up flat try you over fender on so you no the steel isnt pushin it out further than its supposed to be onces its not weld the flaps closed so no water gets on give them a sealer an pant an jus pop your over fenders on then job done

    ya you cut the 2 skins of the arch an pull them both up until they are flat an jus weld them together then....no iv no pics of mine man...its simple enuf do tho.
