    you'll probably find someone who will quote you cheaper than i did, but I wouldn't just be throwing a set off shells at it , it would be a total short block rebuild inc cleaning etc etc

    because the bearings went , be sure to get the oil cooler,main galleries, sump etc all cleaned as there could well be small bits of shell bearings floating around everywhere that could wreak your rebuilt engine

    or i could fit a 2nd hand gze block if you find one around either

    what you want is the best price from the best mechanic. There is a few lads around who have a great knowlege of 4age's & kev86 is one of the few and is also a toyota mechanic

    Your going to have to pay for good work & an engine is something you don't want to be done cheap if you know what i mean.

    nah dude, i was well impressed with your quote and the thing is if i give it to you i know it will be done right thats why you were the first person i asked.. i will be more than likely giving you the business dude dont you worry... im not going cheaping out on this..

    I read this thread backwards and was wondering what the fuss about the bootlid was haha..
    Its mad, kinda out there and cool, I like it. Would like to see something similar done on the rim of a stuuuupidly neg. offset wheel. That place is a cool unused canvas on most cars..

    nice one for going all out on it anyway
