whats needed for rb25 conversion on a 180sx

as above lads,what would be needed to put an rb25 into a 180sx besides box,ecu,loom and engine or is that all ya need?and would it all go straight in or would you need different mounts

A lot is needed including deep pockets,get onto the justjap lads,they've just done this

r32/3 front sub frame, front have of skyline prop.

some one that know their wires or just buy a harness kit.

in around 2k yeah. sure there was one on here last week for like £1300 stg.
add an exhaust and labour €2500 MAX

why would you spend 2500 to stick in a heavier and debatably less reliable engine than the sr when you can get the bits to forge one for under 1500?

two mates have done this reciently and on says its 5k and the other 7k, granted the 5k one is forged and blew up the first engine after one outing.

the 7k one is still sitting with the engine not in her yet and not wired but he has bought plenems and fuel rails etc but still no management, all the little things you need soon add up

unless you are going for 450-500 horse there is no point, the 7k build will be that but other one is 350

tune an sr for half the money and you will have 400horse alot easier

you would find a crashed skyline for less than what they paid and make money on whats left over
