    Exclamation engine trouble

    My r32 gtst started to missfire on the way to work dis morn. Now its only firing on 3 cylinders. Whats gone is it the coil pack and why it go on 3 cylinders in one go?

    have you pulled out the plugs for a look?
    black n sooty if its spark prob,

    No but plugs only in it about a month or so as jim in jr performance did them when he fitted new turbo. I just pulled off each plug when car was running and noticed no difference in car with 3 of the plugs

    try swapping the coil pack you think is good to another cylinder,
    see if the prob follows it.

    Not a bad idea lad ill try that but i have no spark plug socket in work so will have to wait till tomor. Any other ideas and is it usually the pack on the plug that goes wrong or is it the sender unit?

    both can go but packs are more common i think.
    3 packs going in one sounds odd to me
    have you checked all the wiring?
    if you have an 8mm socket ye can move around just the coilpacks
    mark the one you think is good n swap with a bad cylinder,
    if the fault moves with it then sounds like coilpacks.
    if it doesnt then id guess power tr or CAS,
    should be folks who can offer more help on soon though.

    Ok lads jim or jamie are coming up to collect car tomor and they said they have any part it might need so will be back on the road tomor or sat at the latest.

    Still waiting on jim or jamie to come collect or look at the car. So anyone else think they no what might be up with it need it back on the road for work monday?????????????????????????
