wel gem i put in the s15 pump it was the same, but still no power steering so has to be rack....

hmm is it leaking any oil into the boots?? its strange that it just went that day normally they will get notchy or juddery when turning then pack in altogter

Are all the S body racks the same ratio?
Like lock to lock 3.75 turns?
