    Default s13 ca18det to sr20det conversion

right, as the title says, im thinking of dropping as sr20det engine and gearbox into the s13 ca18det that i have.

what's involved in this conversion? i was thinking about buying a complete s14 and just taking the engine, box and loom out of it and swapping it. can i just use most of my existing wiring loom from the ca18 or does the whole lot have to be replaced with the new one?

Whats the difference between the red top and black top sr20's? which one's better to go for.

    Cheers

no no the ca18 isnt dieing. it was only rebuilt 400 miles ago so isnt even properly run in. its just, i hear everyone saying about how bad ca's are so was considering dropping an sr20 in and then dropping the ca into the s14 'donor car' and using it as my drift car.

Also, kinda just wanna do it for a wee bit of a project....wont be until around summer time.

if you ca is only rebuilt and it was done right hold onto it!
the cost of a SR20 will build a strong powerful CA

then when you blow it up, do da conversion,ha
