There's a hicas lockout/eliminator bar instead of the nissan jobbie.. gets rid of the rear wheel steering

The hicas light will come on if your power steering fluid is low too so check that as leaks are common.

If you car still has the full hicas system fitted its best to change for a full eliminator kit from driftworks or conceptua tuning not just the cheap lock out bars.

The gives better handling by removing the hicas but also gets rid of the balljoints on the rear steering arms which are a very common NCT failure.

no point just buying the lock out bar as nissan doctor says. The ball joints are the parts of the hicas that wear easiest, and mean your back wheels turn by themselves when you accelerare/decelerate! full kit from DW is the job.

My hicas light sometimes comes on if im on the wand for a while!
