spec r coil pack trouble

What spec are you all running, ecu's etc? Reason I ask is that Sr20 coils do not give trouble in general.

If you are all running a few stage 1 mods(fmic, pump, 0.8/0.9 bar boost, plugs etc) the problem could well be the cold air, being much denser then warmer air, throwing the air/fuel ratios off from what the maps were set up for, Meaning that you are underfuelling rather then misfiring.

my own spec is FMIC grade, 7 plugs, air filter, decat, downpipe, catback, standard ecu, @hunt s15 does your boost spike over 1 bar aswell and does it hold back on full acceleration?

ive had a few s15s up here wid coil problems,, one was coilpacks,, one was the coil harness,, s15 coils are much slimmer

thanks anyway but have splitfires on order now any way. def coil pack not underfuelling only one coilpack went on me, when i jump started it, went and bought a battery after the damage was done, spec is fmic, hks f con v pro hks plugs, top mount td06 20g, runnin bout 1 bar
