s15, disable abs?

well,? Want to disable the abs on my s15 just for safety when slidin and prefer car without it. Better feelin. Was told to just take fuses out but then thought to myself could wire them through a switch or relay. Which ever worked and use an inline fuse for protection. Have googled it and found some info about it seems i wont get speedo reading if i disable it. Didnt try any thing yet. Can any one help?

Speedo has nothing to do with the ABS sensors, speedo reading is taken from the gear box.

speedo is taken from diff on s15 not gearbox???

was thinkin that alright. Couldn make sense wha i was readin earlier. Would the switched relay work do ya think. Switch the abs off any time ya want but ya'd prob have to turn off and on ignition to get abs back workin.

unless its a sensor..
cause we did one on a s15 before.. had no speedo

thats not good. Cause really hate that kick back feelin under your foot. Would rather let off the brake me self if she was skiddin. Prob not as safe really but would suit me. Ya know yourself

my s14 has a s15 box and speedo dont work....
as far as i no you can change the diff casing to s15/diff casing with abs sensor and wire it up and u can den run the speedo...
looked into this a few times, and thats my understanding of it.... may be wrong though.. or a electronic unit/ decota box can be used...

sounds like id be better of just livin wit it now. prob best leave as is for now any way wit them road's like glass at the minute

true, i dunno, you should look into it further anyway....
im sure theres a way round it.....
i would imagine the speedo sensor and abs sensor would be maybe seperate..

im sure any of the big spec 15's out there have it done and still have there speedo workin........
