at last i go my pipe for my cage and a pipe bender.got the loop done today and was wondering wat size and thickness plate to weld to the bottom of the bars?thanx.

Have a look at the prodrift or d-rift sites to get the regulations lad, best bet.
I havn't got a cage yet so I can't check but in the old beemer think it was 2 or 3 mm thick plate and plates under the car to bolt it together
