    doubt it dude!

plus ya'd wanna be lowering the compression of the non turbo block!

Before you even get to compression issues, The CA and SR are two completly different engine designes. They wouldn't match at all.

If you have an sr20de and want more power then get an sr16ve(pulsar VZR) head and fit it with VZR N1 cams/springs etc(althought there is a little more to it then that) and you would be pushing over 200hp.

Or just fit an sr20det.....or and rb26......or a 1jz.....or an ls1 V8 All have been done.

There would be no noticeable advantage in fitting a det head to a de as they are almost identical.

If its just big ends gone in the ca its easily repaired but if its any worse(crank end float is common wear on a ca) then it prob wouldn't be economical.

The pistons are different(higher compression) in a de compared to a det so you could not run the same boost as a det bottom end.

Also its not just a case of boltding the turbo to the manifold, You need to tap the de block for oil feed and return as well as coolant return(although non vvt engines don't return to the block).

Basically it has come up before...it is vastly easier and cheaper to just get an sr20det.
