SR20DET differences?

Whats the difference with the SR20DET.

I have one with a bulge to the rear of the engine and have seen some with no bulge.. What's the difference?

Also what kind of power would be expected out of this:

SR20DET, new S15 turbo, FMIC, greddy bov, catback system, k&n induction kit, basic enough sr20det

all depends what boost its running

if your talking about a bulge on the engine i presume your talking about vvt on the late spec blacktops

290-300bhp max from the spec listed above if it was mapped maybe 275bhp max with no map lack of ecu would hinder the performance

ya da vvt have da hump on da engine,

with that spec on standard boost maybe 250bhp being realistic,

Has a boost gauge but don't know if/how the boost is upped? Don't know what they boost as standard either?

later spec'd blacktops, do they produce anymore power than that of a non vvt engine?

0.9-1bar will see 300bhp with the addition of a power fc, ive seen printouts with the same spec that hit that figure,
