Put the numbers after the "/cars/" part of the link into the "Search this Thread" function at the top! Chances are they've been talked about before, lots of times
done that already... no results
Ah right sorry, that white 180 has had two owners in a couple of weeks just to let you know.

Normally I wouldn't say anything but hate when ppl try to mislead others.
I presume that actual spec is different in key areas unless someone put loads of money into it but can't see it as price remains the same as when it was sold 2-3 months ago
I owned this car just after it came to Ireland 2-3 years ago and then Hositos had it for 2 years, was great although had its own problems and rust on the bottom chassis. Combination of wide track and suspension setup gave it nice predictable drift. Best handling car I've ever owned. Nice power and good response for a car with std mods.
We put in a t28bb turbo (not HKS) along with new braided oil feed so double check it
diff was a std UK spec vlsd but pretty tight (not 2 way), double check
it had a hardcore cobra bucket seat and 4 point 3" harness (gone now)
clutch was exedy organic (not a paddle one), presume clutch plate dampers are worn out from clutch kicking so that's why it might feel like a paddle one, be warned
it's splitting 1 m long flames for no apparent reason on over-run, gear changes etc, some laugh
passing emissions was quite a task, high miles didn't help. I still have the cat off it.
all brake calipers were giving problems (seizing quite frequently)
zorst is not new, it was a 3" japspeed system elbow back, had scrapes from speed bumps etc
that zorst will NOT pass nct, it's loud as hell. When car was sold it had an apexi manual exhaust valve (butterfly) so it could pass the nct.
front bumper is past its best, I saw it myself about 7 times off the car to be repaired.
gearbox was noisy, gears sometimes popping out (fooked) rear seal started leaking after silkolene went into it last summer
At this stage I suspect that the suspension arms and coilovers are worn out.
On the positive note would be worth checking if it still has a walbro and H-D stage 1 chip

anybody have info on the silver 180sx i posted above??
Ok Nikki, exactly how sure are you that it was this 180? To clean things up a little here now I own this car and to be straight, yes it has overfenders, but they are not hiding a thing! Not happy with my word for it? PM me and I'll send you my number and yourself and Alan Opel can come and look at them with a fine comb!
And then when ye realise you shouldn't speak what you don't know I'll show ye! My 180 is a 1998 the one ye are talking of is a 1997 and is practically identical! Don't believe this? I'll show you the 1997 car to, can even share pictures of both cars side by side on here!
The car ye are both talking about came out of Galway and went to Clare and from Clare to Carlow, but in the mist of Owners the damage happened in the County of Clare! Need any more info to back this? Ring me...
That's all I can say.. Feel free to call up, I'll put my money where my mouth is if ye do!
I am having an out-of-money experience!
