Recommended Oils for 1JZ and R154??

Well lads, servicing herself today hopefully, oil and filter, fuel filter, gear oil, diff oil spark plugs brakes and wipers etc.

Can anyone recommend the best oils and plugs to use?

I have Motul 75w 90w gearbox oil in my diff and gearbox and Mobil 15w50 in the engine, can't remember what plugs.

I used Motul race oil or something for the engine. 5w40 or 15w40 im sure

Then Redline heavy shock proof for the diff and redline MT90/MTL for the box. I can confirm the box oil when im home as ive a few bottles for the next service in the shed. I might have the old bottle of motul to check too.

I put HKS iridium plugs in (cost like €120) but they were fowling for daily use so when it was mapped Bradley told me to put in NGK somethings, ill check when im home. They are like 3 quid a pop You will get them anywhere

Used all the Castrol goodies anyway.




150 quid but man is it worth it.

Still dont know what plugs to get, any advice?

ngk iridioums savage plug the platnum ones will do just fine still better than the resistive ones
