rebuilding the 3sge for boost

anyone on here do it ?? not sure where to start ,i heard about getting gt4 pistons from the 3sgte machined to fit but is it worth it ??

i was told not to get gt4 ones to get forged ones like for the toms version and hks triple head gasket but to be honest lad its not really worth it coz most turbo altezzas and ss111 only make 230 to 250 bhp and youl have spent well over a 1000 euro if you really want more power just get a different engine that has more power like a 1jz coz even 3sgte gt4's only have 236 ish

Why not just go onto rhdjapan.com and buy the forged low comp pistons for your engine, there is a wealth of parts on there or buy the 2.2 high comp stroker kit from toda, run her on proper management, itb's, decent exhaust and you'll make 300bhp n/a

prices are silly expensive on rhd and i dont want na to be honest i was going to do an engine conversion but fuck it ill still to the 3sge
