Ca18det knocking??? help

Hi all seems like nothings going my way,Bought myself a 200sx went and had a drive in it all seemed grand few little things need doing to get it thru the nct nothing major. so took it home were she sat for 2weeks wile i got a few parts together stared it up for the first time today rev it to 2k revs and as it drops back down there is this knocking sound. Note i only started car the one and rev'd it twice then turned it off.

My Questions are,
Is this the sound of big ends gone and since i turned it off straight away would i have done any damage?
Is there anything els it could be?

sounds like the big end if its a big knocking noise the ca18 are always at it the sump needs to be baffeld but it could also be the tappets aswell lad dont run it till you know more

It's not a big noise, just a little clicking sound when the revs are dying down as I said tho I turn it off straight away

No nothing like that thank god. if you've ever heard a fiesta with the tapets gone thats what it sounds like, but only when the revs are dropping.

would it do damage to turn on for a few minutes and i could record what it sounds like?

Idles fine no noise only noisy when reved. Someone said check turbo/cams new oil first any other ideas before bearing? It would be so sweet if it was just the turbo as I have a new one in the shed

You'll have to isolate the noise, is it in the engine top/bottom?? if it's coming from the turbo it prob is a blown gasket.. these will have to be replaced anyway so no harm doing them, do an oil treatment and put fresh oil in it then,do an oil pressure test then to see the overall health of it, if it's a tappet they usually free up with a motorway drive(not a thrash), If you dont know the history of the car get a set of main and big ends for it as most ca's will have had a poor service history and anything like that won't take well to been tuned and pushed hard,

It kinda sounds like its coming from the turbo but i cant be 100%.
Plan for today is check the turbo for play change oil and go from there.
I dont know the history of the car at all,very clean for 200sx but id say it
took a trashing in its time. Thanks for the suggestions
