the afm was changed on it before it's last run in mondello

we thought it was sorted, brought it to mondello and

it ran perfect for the first lap, then started limiting at 5k again

new plugs fitted yesterday, coilpacks changed for a known good set

o2 sensor changed, actuator changed/doesn't seem to be any boost/vacuum leaks

    any more thoughts lads

Is it actually limiting at 5000rpm? or just revving to 5000rpm and not revving any further? Has it normal power up till 5k? Whats the spec of the car?

    try your fuel filter
i had a similar prob like this before and it turned out to be my air filter wasn"t restricting the air enough,,, silly but true changed the air filter then she ran fine... was after i changed nearly every part on the car...plugs afm coils fuel pump filters inter cooler pipes the lot... ended up getting a mad notion to change the air filter for some reason then it worked///
check all your plugs are tight if one were to come loose it would spark all over the place causing detonation... hopefully you find it

What boost you running there. Could be hitting fuel cut?? Did you get it mapped?
