Water and oil temperature gauge had been tampered with, make ye're own conclusion up now, it was the headgasket that went, had it been on the way out? who knows at this stage, someones blowin' shit anyways

if the headgasket was on the way out there would have been mayonaise on the oil cap.... did you check the oil cap before you bought the car??? that car was perfect before you got it so god knows what happened in that 5 hours

You failed to check any single or combination or the usual bits and pieces everyone checks on any car regardless of price/age/what your told about it

how would the nick in the gasket last 4k and then suddenly start to fail???

There was no mayonaise in the oil cap and I can tell you the car was perfect when it left with all fluids well topped up

i dont think he stung you once. he builts a lot of engines and in the rare case that there is a problem then he sorts it out.
