i removed the heavy sun roof 2day and it was heavy the motor alone weighed a bit

and i got my da after alot of work i manged to get him to help me we well he really started to work on the rails and weld on the bits to make the seat fit its nearly finished

here he is making the side mounts for the seat

well i discovered why the inside was so low i removed the roof lining to discover the sun roof which is a big massive thing that takes up the whole roof and is 2 inches thick and has 4 pipes one at each corner 2 copper pipes at the front and a nice little motor well i can safely say its coming out ha

and i cut me finger on the headlight glass when it broke but ah sure its all part of the job bt
right this is a bit of a hope for the best job the gear linkage was held together with elasticbands and it kept popping out so since i got pissed off trying to get a circlip onto the linkage i got a jubily clip and tightened the shite out of it funny enough it feels better changing gears

    heres my diff

    filed down the rough edges

this is it over the hole left by the sunroof with silicone and puttin in rivets

and after johno asking al the time i finally got the seat welded to the rails and bolted straight

and i finished the day by startin to put the harness in
