Quick exhaust question

On my exhaust iv a sensor of some sort going into the cat.what is it does anybody know?Also if anybody knows what it is....will the car run without it in?Really appreciate any info

I don't see why not? Your cat light might just come on?

sensor for carbon buildup blockage in cat.there is an icon for it next to the dreaded low petrol light on dash..if u put in a decat fire away

jus the heater sensor for if the cat is gettin too hot/blocked...decat it an it'll be grand

Nice one lads....an lady!!it has a decat in it already with the hole for the sensor but I need to put the cat in for the Nct.just wondering if the car would run without it in as the cat I have doesn't have the hole

ya it'll run no prob wit out it in...its only a sensor to detect extra heat in the cat...mite put the light on the clocks but pull the bulb if it does...mine didn come on wen i took it out tho...some do some dont come on
