It's all to do with the heat range it's being used at. If it's not being heated to over 100c often then it should last up to 10k kms.

10w 60 is the stuff have always used it and never a problem

Your best bet is to just shoot into halfirds some day if you get the chance, or if your passing by. They can be just as cheap, just see what they are selling if for.
Last time I went in it was 20% off! 38£ I think.

halfords are stopping selling it now, replacing with 10w60, its under 50 with a trade card, none left in galway store now tho, last gallon is in my car
