Totally fine if you are employed.Self employed people don't get paid holidays. It is for sure a brilliant track and the drift days run well there. Outside of mondello is there anywhere else to drift.

mondello being irelands only race circuit they are bound to be booked up most weekends with some sort of race event be it,sallon,single seaters,bikes etc etc,so they cant fit drifting in,surely to have it on midweek is better than not having it on at all,and as soon as the busy season for mondello is over they will prob return it to weekends for drifting,they simply cant cater for every motorsport on weekends being the only track in the country

how come they could last year..I dont give a fuck they just do not like drifting up their!! only for it brings in so much money they wouldnt let us near the place!!..fuckin stickin tire bales out simply to watch ppl wreck their cars not to "protect their precious grass" in saying that iv seen dicks just go to a drift day in a wrecker to cause nothing but harm with no regard for the venue or other ppl attending..so in a way cant blame mondello for putting drifting to the backburner..

Mondello are 110% NOT getting rid or trying to out drifting from Mondello!

well i didnt exactly say that. and i hope they do not by any means get rid of it.. just thought maybe there putting the track racing. slingle seaters and the likes in front of it. with there new racing club that has been in motorsport news paper going on about more race weekends etc i think... think its a bit silly. cant bate mondello at the weekends for the craic.

but its hardly anything to do with all the race season starting back. ??

someting has to be done. where else is every1 suppose to go?? all the documentarys on tv about young lads messing on the roads bla bla and they take away somewhere to go on the weekends..

A Petition? in all fairness be realistic lads, if its what the want to do your not gonna change that,its obviously a simple problem of not having available dates or having events with better revenue on weekends....

Drifting doesnt even come close to bring in the revenue a race weekend does in Mondello.The only thing thats new is the Adelaide Masters which will bring in massive revenue for both Mondello and my local area.
Racing is what mondello was built for,Hence putting it "in front" of drifting.
Its their bread and butter.

Im all for drifting and Im not being negative,But if Mondello doesnt get the revenue it'll simply close its gates,Last 2 years have been very quiet over there and this is make or break for them.
Hopefully with the Masters and success of ITCC it'll improve its finances and in turn improve the facilities.

now you seem to no more bout mondello than i do.... i THINK in a article in motorsport news a few months ago there were wanting to start a race club for themselves to get away from MI to make things cheaper? was this ever done ? i think i could be incorrect on the matter!
