The hole was just where the pipe goes through the drivers side arch. The pipe had been rubbing off a bit of metal but I hammered that out of the way.![]()

Gay update, but...... after three hours of faffing about today the sliding rail in my car finally works and the DW seat is finally central and not over to the left and isn't stopping the handbrake from being pulled. Woop!
I think Gem has a hydro there for me so must get that fitted, a 3" diameter shotgun exhaust with no boxes made up and fitted, and an ECV installed. Then it's to whatever drift day is next.
Oh and possibly a respray before finally selling the car. Long term plans.

Update...
Got a hydro finally, and Gem fitted it during the week. He had some trouble with having to make up extra lines, and finding a good mounting place for it, but he got it done and it's in now, and most importantly, locks the wheels.![]()
Had the car out in Mondello yesterday for a couple of hours. The faster track definitely suited me better than Port Laoise, and I basically had a ball and had no problems linking bends and having the car on the lock stops. Had a few spins going through the hole in the hedge after they watered the track, and another one at Dunlop, but other than that the car was flying.
Coming out of Honda and flicking the car hard into turn two with the throttle pinned to the floor is defintely something I want to do again pretty soon, but I'll probably try using third gear a bit more. Third was killing the tyres yesterday so I stayed in second most of the time.![]()
Tried once or twice to get close to the pit wall coming out of Dunlop but I managed to blow a tyre on one attempt and started getting visions of completely slapping off the wall so I gave that up.![]()
Anyhow, the bug has bitten hard, so I will be doing the next practice day at Mondello. But in the meantime I must get an oil leak or two sorted, the back bumper back on, more drift wheels, and change all fluids. So, it'll be a busy few weeks.
A few pics....
Oh ya, I almost forgot.. I have two 18x10, et -6 Lowenharts coming from Japan, so whenever they arrive I'll throw them on the car and get some rear arch work done. Had plans to respray the car while the arches were being done, but after yesterdays fun I think cash for a respray would be better spent on a cage and some adjustable camber arms.
Pic of the wheels...
