    Default BMW E46 320d M47 - Remap and Uprated Diff Q??

Right, just bought myself a new motor - 2001 BMW E46 320d (m47 engine, therefore the 136bhp model)

Im always gona have the drifting bug, so would ideally like to put some sort of uprated diff into it - purely to feed my occasional roundabout hunger (private track roundabout that is). Can anyone help me as to what sort of LSD's fit this car model??

Also, goin from a 200bhp type r, to a 330bhp s13 ....ALLLLLLL the way down to a 136bhp DIESEL is a wee bit w*ank, so who remaps these and for how much? and what other wee mods can i do to get me up and over the 170bhp mark?
170bhp being my target just so i can say F*CK YOU to my Da as i pass him and his not so smug face in his E90 320d M Sport! ha.

as usual, any help is always appreciated.
    thanks in advance!

Getting 170 on a remap wont be a problem lad, ive my golf 100 standard runnin 148 with just a remap, mate of mine had a 320d msport, 154 standard if im correct, runnin 200 brake on a remap with 18 inch wheels and i think he had a m3 diff init. Dont think it was much good in the dry though for lighting them up but i think she woz grand in the wet, but i'd say if you had smaller wheels on it she would probably be grand.

Was fearing you'd say manual, I've had 5 of these over time and remapped the 3 manuals I had, each and every one of them shit the box where when I mapped the autos they were fine! Found later that other guys with remapped manuals had exactly same problem!
    I had a 150hp to 175hp shit itself
2 136hp to 160/165hp shit the box too!

If having it done go to ECC but only with an auto if I were you!

True this, have seen several of the manuals shit the boxes and some of them werent remapped, the auto's are a much better car and a nicer drive.

p.s. ive had a duke at tuning boxes as a cheaper alternative (£150 less than the cost of the cheapest remap i can find)

I dunno whether to go for a tuning box instead, cos surely a remap would even out the little flat spots a lot better than a tuning box?

Anyone have any experience with them?
