nct emmisions fail

Altezza failed nct emmisions by not much over limit anyone any idea s how to bring it down for re test thanks

check cat and lamda sensor.
if its only a teeny tiny bit off try a bit of dipetane in your fuel and rape the car before your retest

Put in a bottle of carb and injector cleaner to a full tank of juice, done this with my evo and it brought it down form 2.8 to 0.6....., if it only failed marginally this should work a charm

Thanks lads ah ill throw up the readings tomorrow eve sheet is at home place also failed noise levels so must get me a standard exhaust

il tell ye what altezzas run rich so if the exhaust is cold it will fail try take it for a good run before you put it in and dont let it tick over at all the excess fuel will sit in the exhaust as for noise levels just get a lend of a standard system if you can if not disconnect the exhaust wherever you can and stuff some brillo pad in it will reduce the sound and emissions

x2 heard bout using the brillo pads before,ive also heard of a fire blankets being shoved up the exhaust
