Question about Mazda RX7 road tax

Can anyone elighten me on the official situation with Irish road tax on a Mazda RX7. I see some of them advertised for sale saying they are taxed as 1.3 - this is making one of them quite attractive to me - but only if it is 100% legal - is this above board or just tax dodge? Some others seem to be taxed as 1.7's and some as 2.6


I've checked the VRT website and it only seems to have 1.7 as an option.

most are n the book as 1.3 bar a few that got stung for whatever reason and put it down as 2.6
