went to look at the car today, and swaped till friday jus to get them checked out and will finalise deal on friday, the car seems tite engine seems good, but theres an issue with the boost, it has a boost controller valve under the bonnet and the car doesn seem to be boosting rite, wen you put your foot down say at 100k in 5th gear wen the boost builds up full it jus collapses like looses the power after a sec as if all pressure jus dropped, and the boost is going up the hole way to .7 on the standard gauge on the clocks, where i think shud be jus .5, so any ideas what cukld be wrong? hoses connected wrong or something maybe? the mechanic reckons the engine is mint but jus that lil issue, so take it till friday see can it be fixed and if not wont be taking it

yeah my mechanic said it cud be someting to do with the intercooler or piping to it he said it cud be a leak or something to it,it only has standard intercooler so cuda got a bang or sumting, uswana see how many possible cause i can get so i can check all thanks

sounds like a boost leak, but if it was a boost leak youd get it under the same pressure in any gear,

ps the standard boost gauge in the clocks arent worth a wank, so dont go by that, and stock boost is .7 on full boost, they have a 2 stage boost too BTW,

Great well u get it in all the gears wen she builds up but fifth jus best example cause more pressure on it on the low tons, I'm going to try source the problem today and hope all is well, lovely car to drive
