Rite im going looking at a few 406/C5 HDI's during the week..
Seen a few yolks with 2.2 hdi engines with Automatic gearbox failure are they a piss poor box?? Want a manual box preferably but all the decent looking cars seem to be automatics
Anyone know anything about these?

i sold a 00 406 hdi.. tax and test for 1k there 2 weeks ago!!
seen like grand car but id still pick a passat or womethin lik that..

Would'nt touch a passat been honest, nor a tdci mondeo after the repair bills of the last one
